Hanscom-Based Programs Summer Fun

Schubmehl, Pohlman, ReillyOdyssey’s Bedford, Massachusetts team is actively engaged in our community. Members of the Bedford and Wakefield, Mass. offices volunteer their time and sponsor events in support of non-profit organizations, including Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Air Force Association, and Hanscom Representatives Associations. Odyssey supports AFCEA’s scholarship work and promotion of education and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Our members serve as chapter officers and volunteer their time as event committee members and active participants in AFCEA’s Lexington-Concord Chapter where Odyssey has a long-standing and active relationship. COO Matt Kasberg serves as chapter treasurer, having replaced Erin Donlan (Schubmehl), director, Hanscom-based programs, who had previously held that role, the baton will soon be handed over to Mitch Kasberg, Odyssey’s corporate pricing manager, to continue Odyssey’s active support of Golf OutingAFCEA to help their ability to annually grant more than $70,000 in scholarships to middle and high school students, as well as 21 ROTC detachments throughout the Northeast. Pictured above right at a recent summer networking and scholarship fundraising event are Erin Donlan Schubmehl, director of Hanscom-based programs, Mark Polman (Colorado Springs) and Jamie Reilly (Wakefield) from the Talent Acquisition department.

Members of Odyssey’s corporate contracts, business development, and talent acquisition team’s offices also participated in a golf tournament benefiting the AFCEA scholarship fund.

Colorado Springs Team Outing—The Royal Gorge Railroad

Royal Gorge RailroadOdyssey’s Colorado Springs office outing left the Royal Gorge station in mid-August. The scenery was spectacular, the food was exquisite, and the crew members were delightful. We traveled along the Arkansas River where we witnessed many river rafters. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and there are rumors of many coming back to partake a second time. Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed themselves, and to Odyssey Systems for looking out for and putting the employees first. Looking forward to next year!

The LA team enjoyed themselves at a July outing
